Now that I have some time
I will just upload an email from my e-group
Many thanks to friend Zubia Kiran who posted this article...
that I believe may affect some of us

Too often we don't realize
What we have until it is gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things
To tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
Unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you.
Take the time to say the words
Before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got;
And be thankful for the little things
In life that mean a lot

Selamat EidulAdha

Me and a Charolais bull

And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah ; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful. Al-Hajj, Ayat 36

Their meat will not reach Allah , nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good. Al-Hajj, Ayat 37

On EidulAhda when we have most of members of my wife family, we will slaughter of Qurban. Last year we do not have one due to some unwelcomed comment from the previous year's qurban. Realising the situation, the one who passed the comment some sort of retrack the comment a month ago and so we have one this year even though the two of my sisters in-law that stay in Klang and Ampang did not come back to Kuala Dungun as the rotation rule them to be with husbands' families this EidulAdha.

As the decision to have qurban this year came in almost on the last day of October, we do not expect to have a good cow for Qurban. However, Fate has decided otherwise, there is a man who bought a Charolais bull for his daughter's wedding. However the groom-to-be has a change of heart or something and the wedding has to be called off. We bought the bull at a small discount ;)).
So almost the whole morning and a good part of the afternoon was spent with the qurban do. Evening saw us in Kubang Baroh KT and we travelled back to Kuala Dungun after sunset to prepare for the trip home Monday.

We prayed that our deed on the EidulAdha is accepted by Allah and that all our friends (who have been fortunate to grace the Arafah this EidulAdha) deeds are similarly accepted.. Now that remind me of PakMat who is also guest of Allah ..may his Haj be accepted or mabrur.

Have a nice week ahead.
