IdilFitri Tahun ini

Ayoh Wang's family

Me and my family have a busy Eid day with Solat Eid in Sungai Udang Mosque and have family breakfast in Kuala Dungun.

Breakfast anyone?

10 a.m. saw us in Seberang Baroh visiting my mum, my sister and her big clan. It was followed by the normal Eid's visit to uncles, aunties and even cousins. By 4 p.m.we were rushing back to Dungun to visit Mok Wang's relatives.

Just like last year's Hari Raya festival, we have an open air family lunch at my late MIL house in Sungai Udang, Kuala Dungun on the second raya day(you can read it here).

Now where is that Rendang Tok?

Anyone for syrup Bandung?

Enjoying the family lunch

I guessed the memory shared with my late MIL, somehow dampened the normally joyous mood.

All the same, Ayoh Wang and family would like to wish joyous hari Raya to my blog's kind readers.

Hi Wan Sharif, I love the pics here. And really miss visiting my Malay friends this festive season.
Love the delicious food.

I remember back in the '60s, '70s during hari raya, I hardly ate at home.
From breakfast to makan malam was at friend's homes
hantam ketupat, lemang, rendang, dodol, etc....
tali pinggang kena korek one more lobang, ha ha.

Thats a beautiful family portrait.
I used to pass thru or stop for coffee those places you mention once upon a time.

Have a nice weekend, my friend.
Lee.

Good day bro. Lee,
I do have a nice but rather busy weekend, my friend, Lee.
Today I have 2 weddings ( 1 in Semenyih and the other in Subang Jaya) and 3 invitations for open house.. 1 in Bangi, the other in Klang and the last one in Kramat.. manage to fulfill tree invitation .. the wedding and one open house.. I was ready with belt with holes to spare...
There are also political reps who invites everyone for open house.. not for me though.. too many invitations already as it is ;).
If ever you came back in Malaysia festive or no festive season.. there will be a lot of us who would be willing to allow you to renew your practice of korek more lubang on your tali pinggang ;)
I noticed not many people share their family pictures.. but then I do not have that many skeleton in my closet!;). Glad you like them pictures
Have a nice weekdays ahead.. Brother Lee.

Dmarie dearest,
It is a rather late sharing.. I have to wait for my son who took pictures during the event post the picture on his FB... before I could use them for my blogging.. honestly I enjoy reading the blogs better than posting on my own.. ;)
Glad you like the family portrait .. I loved those photographs in your latest posting.. you seem to have some much space..

Yohteh Dearest,
Too close yet too far.. mm we need to take some effort here.. since I only go back to KT once a blue moon.. maybe you can e mail me your contact no and/or address to orebule@yahoo.com or sms the same to 019-9819405.. then I will be able to call you for a teh tarik session should time permits.
May Syawal brings you and yours Allah's Rahmah, Redha and Maghfirah :)))
